Zero-Turn Mower Maintenance Schedule (By Hours & Season)
Staying on a maintenance schedule is the single biggest factor in how long a zero-turn lasts. This checklist is organized by engine hours and by season so you know exactly what to do and when. Always follow your machine's owner's manual for specific intervals and fluid types, this is a general guide.
Every use (before & after)
- Check engine oil level; look for leaks.
- Check tire pressure, uneven pressure causes an uneven cut.
- Inspect blades for damage; clear debris from the deck.
- Clear grass buildup from the deck and cooling screens after mowing.
- Glance over belts and guards for obvious wear.
Every 25 hours

- Grease fittings, spindles, caster wheels, pivots.
